For our second episode of the “Insights from OVERLEAF’s experts” series we have interviewed Sotirios Grammatikos from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Environmental impact minimization, end of life (EoL) tanks challenges, and national and European legislative obstacles are the main topics that have been thoroughly discussed with the expert.
“OVERLEAF partners are making great efforts to develop new materials that do not impact the environment as conventional materials do” says Sotirios, adding that “NTNU is supporting the project by evaluating Life Cycle Assessment on the impacts that are generated in order to act where and when needed”.
